BEAUTIFUL....ANTIQUE (BELIEVE CIRCA 1930'S TO LATE 1940'S ERA)....AND CONSIDERED RARE TO FIND...ART DECO STYLIZED,
souvenir drinking glass once used at the iconic

ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO
THESE OLD "HOTEL SOUVENIRS" ARE SCARCE TODAY.....THIS ONE IS VERY OLD, AND WITH THE ART DECO STYLE, BELIEVE THIS IS 1930'S ERA, AND THIS IS A RARE PC OF ROSWELL HISTORY
From what I can gather, believe this hotel goes back to the 1930s, and was located at "121 East 5th st" in downtown Roswell....and it was still going in the 1950s........So...this was
probably
one of the MAIN HOTELS DURING THE BIG 1947 UFO CRASH...WOULD IMAGINE WITH ALL THE MILITARY PEOPLE, ETC IN TOWN, THIS HOTEL WAS A BUSY PLACE !!!
THE STYLE GLASS WAS POPULAR IN THE 1930'S TO 1940'S......AND IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION...FROM A HISTORIC HOTEL WHICH I BELIEVE IS CLOSED DOWN,
Souvenir glass is clear glass with pale green writing,  measures 4" tall x 2 1/4" wide,
and it displays
well,  great specimen. (please see pictures in gallery) Could find no damage

THIS IS NOT SOME CHEAP GOOFY CHEEZY MODERN DAY SOUVENIR....THIS IS A RARE PC OF ROSWELL HISTORY, AND THIS HOTEL DEFINITELY WAS IN ITS "HEYDAY" DURING THE BIG FLYING SAUCER DEAL.
