1937 Indians of New Mexico "the first Americans" by New Mexico State Tourist Bureau. 9 x 4 inch brochure, opening to 9 x 8. 20 pages filled by black and white photographs describing the different native groups living in New Mexico. Topics include the River Pueblos, the Pueblos of the High Mesas, the Navajos, Ancient Taos, the Apaches, and Arts and Handcrafts. There is a map in the middle of the book, and the back page (photo) describes events that occur through the year. In very good condition. No tears noted, pages intact, original mailing envelope included. The envelope has a post office stamp of April 5, 1937.
