    Description

    This is a vintage original World War II Commendation Letter from Headquarters XXI Corps to the 65th Infantry Division regarding the Surgeon's inspection of the 605th , 631st  Tank Destroyer Battalions and the 232nd Engineer Combat Company. It was sent from Camp Polk , Louisiana to Camp Shelby, Mississippi. It is signed by Major General F. W. Milburn and Major H. L. Burnside. It measures approx. 8" by 10 1/2". It is in used condition with some wear and yellowing from use, aging, and storage.  See photos.
