This is one of ~ 24 Original vintage Lobby Cards from the late 1920's thru early 1940's. They contain such Hollywood stars as: Dolores Del Rio ... Marlene Dietrich ... Bebe Daniels ... This is a great lobby card for Alice White in "BROADWAY BABIES". It was a 1929 First National Picture, (Warner Brothers), Alice White's first Talking Picture. Alice White bio is below with an IMDB link. Lobby card has surface wear, a long portion of top margin missing at left, large moisture stain at top right corner, 3/8" of right margin trimmed off, small triangles missing at bottom corners, tear in margin at left/center and bottom/center. Some light creasing in margins, mostly right center. Still a Great Flapper Girl image for Warner Brothers answer to Clara Bow.
Alice White Bio: This Hollywood High graduate began her career as a secretary and script girl, working for
Josef von Sternberg and Charles Chaplin. A sexy and bubbly player, she was repeatedly miscast as a singer-dancer. She toured the vaudeville circuit after her career spluttered, returning to Hollywood only to get involved in a sex scandal in 1933 with her boyfriend, actor Jack Warburton, and future husband Sy Bartlett. She continued working on the stage and screen for the next two decades, but a series of divorces, further sex scandals, and a 1957 accident
effectively ended her career.
Movie Synopsis: Dee lives with her two girlfriends in a boarding house. Billy is in love with Dee and runs the show where Dee is in the chorus. He has Dee stepping from the chorus to featured dancer. Gessant is a importer and gambler from Detroit. A gang is trying to keep him in town to fleece him and they use Dee as bait. He is introduced to Dee after her show and she and her friends go out with Gessant and his gambling buddies only because Dee is mad at Billy. Gessant helps her get another job as headliner at the New Moon Club. Billy and Dee break up over this job and Gessant falls for Dee. But Billy still loves Dee and Gessant loves Dee and Dee must choose who she wants.

I am willing to ship anywhere in the world. Due to the recent huge increase in US Postal International rates, I've had to more than double shipping charges. Most of this is due to the fact that I use a cardboard stiffener to prevent bending during shipping. A stiff package must be hand sorted, rather than machine sorted. This puts the item in a nearly 3x higher shipping rate category.
