The metal middle layer allows a 5000 volt charge to dissipate to 0 volts in 50 microseconds. The inner antistatic polyethylene layer prevents static charges from generating inside the bag (less than 10¹¹ ohms/sq). The outer layer is a tough, antistatic (10¹¹ ohms/sq) polyester. 100 bags per package.

These bags provide a static safe environment for electronic devices. The integral antistatic, low tribocharging properties prevent electrostatic charges during movement. The bags consist of three layers: an inner and outer static dissipative polyester layer, and a middle aluminum-shielding layer. The aluminum layer has the properties to discharge 5,000 volts to 0 volts in 50 µsec. The bags feature an amine-free construction allowing compatibility with polycarbonate for a non-corrosive, noncontaminating environment.
These metal in bags have a buried metal layer that won't scratch off and provides superior durability. With greater than 10 lbs. puncture resistance, the bags will reliably protect most components. These bags have greater than 40% light transmission, which allows for identification of bag contents. Static dissipative properties are built into the bags, which won't wear off and are not humidity dependent.
Bag contents will not electrostatically charge during movement. Resistance of inner surface is 10^11 ohms.
