From the estate of Ladd and Marion Hunt. Ladd was drafted into Army in 1942.  He retired as General in the Army.  Deceased in 2008.  WW2 RAAF Pilots Silk Evasion Map Luzon & Palawan September 1944. Rare original issued to a US Naval Aviator. Hard to find. Normally these are printed on both sides with different maps, and appears is only printed on one side. Minimal wear and tear;
1944 World War 2 Cloth Silk Map, Palawan, Luzon, Royal Australian Air Force This is a WWII vintage Cloth Silk map dated September 1944. The map was made by the R.A.A.F., Royal Australian Air Force. The map is printed on one side of the 18” x 36” cloth. The colors are sharp and clear. The map is of the Luzon and Palawan Islands, part of the Philippine Islands. It was “Prepared under the directions of R.A.A.F. H/Q.”
The frame is 36 5/8” long and 18 1/2” wide. The framing appears to have been professionally done and the frame is silver metal.
