Very nice vintage 1944 "Guide to the Western Pacific" for the use of Army, Navy and Marine Corps. Information on each of the islands that were "Stepping Stones to Japan" to prepare American forces for the job. From the estate of a Navy seaplane pilot and intelligence officer stationed off the coast of Japan planning for the invasion when the atomic bomb was dropped. About 8" x 5 1/2", 124 pages, softcover.
Very good to excellent condition. Cover has some dog earing and minor soiling / sun tanning. Inside looks unread. Binding is tight.
