LARGE VICTORIAN ROLLED GOLD UMBRELLA HANDLE, c. 1880-1900

This listing is for a beautiful Victorian Period Rolled Gold umbrella or parasol handle with Mother-of-Pearl decoration.

ovely antique handle dating from the late 1800's-early 1900's. Ornate embossed design in bands around the gold areas. Small round hand hold area with design around outside border and further decorated with two
sections of Mother-of-Pearl panels .
There are numerous minor dents on top and around the upper handle edge and a wrinkled area below this area (see photos). No other problems or flaws other than minor wear commensurate with age.
Measures 12 3/8" long with the hand hold being 1 3/4" in diameter and the end tip is 1/4" in diameter.
These highly decorated umbrella handles are often used today as handles for magnifying glasses. We currently have a nice selection of umbrella handles available in our eBay Store so please check our other great items. We are always happy to combine packing to save on shipping charges.
