    Description

    Natural Winged Elm Framed In Antique Vintage 6 Pane Window Sash, 27. in H x 27 W in. x 3 in. D, with original sash lock.
    As its name implies, winged elm is most easily recognized by the very broad, thin pair of corky wings that form along the branchlets after a couple of years. Its natural range is the southeastern and south central United States. Although it is fairly common in these areas, many people have never seen the winged elm.
    A 1-1/2 in. frame is added to the back (exterior) side of the sash, and the natural winged elm branch is mounted within this frame.
