    Offered here for your consideration is an EXTREMELY RARE (without exaggeration), World War Two (2) United States Navy and United States Marine Corps "Operation Galvanic" Landing Map. Operation H-025-1 Operation Galvanic was the invasion of the Gilbert and Macon Islands in November of 1943. For the Officer or Sergeant in Charge. This map features all the Islands' Code Names (Diane 1, Helen, Cathy, Cora, etc.). Map features all the appointed Naval LST USMC Landing / Assault Zones and Priority Objectives. Carried into battle. I am aware of one other of this original map in the National Archives. (Please review all pictures and condition description).
