ITEM: Original WWII One-of-a-Kind HAND DRAWN Map of the 80th DIVISION, PATTON'S THIRD ARMY DRIVE TO AUSTRIA May 1 to May 9, 1945. HAND DRAWN with pencil and ink by CAPTAIN JOHN K. BEARD, HQ Company, 314th ARTILLERY, 80th INFANTRY DIVISION, Patton's Third Army during or at the end of WWII. Captain Beard was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was usually a 314th Artillery Liaison Officer with infantry units in the 80th Division. LOW STARTING PRICE.
,The second to last picture shows a photo of Captain John K. Beard in Austria at the end of the war in Europe. The last picture shows an index card with some of my notes about his service record. The photo and index card ARE NOT INCLUDED with this map, but the winning bidder can feel free to grab their images off of the listing.
