    Description

    A lot of three original WWII items from the same estate:
    - A Daily Situation Map of Japan for May 1944 marked Restricted and sent home to the US. The map has been annotated with comments like "most of these cities are in the wrong location.  A half wit must have done it." About 14" x 9".
    - Accompanying Note: Labeled "Distance from Tokyo Bay in Nautical Miles" with an annotation reading "I used this in working something up for the admiral. It's still good and you can tell how far I am from the places listed. Do you have a good map??"  About 7" x 9".
    - An official ship's order sending the officer to Okinawa.
