Original bring back leaflet from WWII. These leaflets with instructions on surrendering to US troops were dropped from airplanes over enemy territory and left in villages to be found by "by anyone - Japanese, Korean, Soldier, Civilians, etc." "The bearer has ceased resistance. Treat him in accordance with international Law. Take him to the nearest commanding officer. C-in-C American Forces." Includes detailed instructions on what to expect upon surrender "good treatment - food, clothing, tobacco, medical treatment, etc will be accorded in conformity with international law." And instructions on how to surrender "Come slowly ...with hands high...carrying only this leaflet","Cone one by one. Do not come in groups" "Men must wear only pants or loin cloths, women and children may come dressed as they are" and "Do not approach American lines at night" The reverse side is numbered "No 811" and has what appear to be a couple different Kanji charactor translations. A pretty neat piece of history.
Measures about 8" by 5".
Has been folded and appears to have been carried.  Shows some staining with some foxing.  Wear and edge tear on the left hand side. See pictures for condition of EXACTLY what you will receive.
