These shoes feature birds drawn on each toe, "BIRD" written twice on each tongue, and the number 12 above "MASE24" on the outer. This was written by Mason as a tribute to Chris "Birdman" Andersen, who was suspended by the NBA for drug use on January 25, 2006. These unique features of the shoes allow conclusive photo matching to the New Orleans / Oklahoma City Hornets vs. Memphis Grizzlies game on January 28, 2006. Shoes are Mason's custom model, adidas size 15.
