PIN-BACK BUTTON BADGE 1970s VILLAGE VOICE 2" Very Rare Style & Color
Most Village Voice promotional knick-knacks and much of its advertising was created by my dad, Daniel List, the Village Voice circulation manager from 1957-1978.  I've sold a number of buttons, quite a few in fact, but not of this color and size.  Yellow with Green letters.  Perhaps the only one in existence? Not sure what to make of it.  Here is some context to provenance:
Dad, Daniel List, was a Village Voice freelance writer and long-time distribution manager:  Circulation manager of the Village Voice 1958-1978, Soho Weekly News (1978-1982) and freelance automotive journalist (Hub-Caps/The Brakes during the same period for both). Here is the Village Voice Group Photos:

He was also charged with promoting these venerable counter-culture weeklies, and he made up many posters, display cards, pocket-knives, calendars...give-aways, knick-knacks, paper-weights...all blazoned with the Village Voice.  In 1978 Rupert Murdoch bought the Village Voice and fired everyone....dad went to work for
    the Soho Weekly News
...then East Village Eye....then the NY Observer .long story).
