Overall, this lobby card is very nice with fantastic images and graphics and bright vibrant colors

    Description

    This is an original, movie theater issued lobby card, 11 x 14, for the 1935 John Wayne western "The New Frontier." This is 1 lobby card from a set of 8 cards, issued to the theaters, for display during the showing of the film.
    Note that first release lobby cards from this early John Wayne Republic movie are considered very rare and very hard to find. Back in the 1930's, John Wayne was not the star he became in the 1950's and beyond.
    This original 1935 lobby card is in nice condition with some edge and handling wear, some edge and corner dings, tack holes in all 4 corners and side borders (some filled with tape from the back), light border fading, a few scuffs of the lobby card body, and a few tears with old tape repairs from the back. Overall, this lobby card is very nice with fantastic images and graphics and bright vibrant colors. I would grade this lobby card a 4+, on a 1 to 10 scale.
