This binder was created by M. J. George’s E. M. 2/c.
It is a list if systems that must be maintained for the successful operation of the ZEAL....a minesweeper with many complicated procedures and systems on board.
The person responsible to update this type of manual must be responsible and focused.
The actual pages may have been secret and probably destroyed at some time before decommissioning. However, the cover page and table of contents remain showing exactly what was included in the manual.

This custom wood binder and list of ships systems was purchased at a military show in Fort Lauderdale Florida approximately (30) years ago. The binder has been in safe storage all this time.
......My father was a WW2 navy corpsmen and I have been collecting WW2 navy stuff forever.
Actually, I did not realize what this was at point of purchase.
It took some investigating to realize the initials on the cover was the guy creating the list of systems. (MJG)
NOTE: THE HAND CARVED REPLICA ON THE BACK WOOD PANEL IS A CLOSE RESEMBLANCE TO THE ZEAL.

The ZEAL was launched September 15, 1942......
The ZEAL was decommissioned July 6, 1956......
And was sunk as a target on January 9, 1967.
Not much from the ZEAL WAS SAVED.
This custom binder.....maintained by M.J. GEORGES may be some of the only items from the ZEAL.
