Vintage Carlsbad Caverns Double Chained Pin Scotty Scottie Dog GREAT Souvenir
This pin is made out of some sort of silver metal - maybe pewter? It is not marked as to metal content. The metal is rather on the substantial heavy side - it is not flimsy metal.
It is very clean looking.
The double pin is in excellent condition.
It has a double metal chain attaching the 2 pins.
Wonderful Souvenir Pin!
This is an older pin - I would say the 1950's or maybe before. I would say maybe the 1940's because it has the older type of clasp (c clasp) - not the safety kind.
Measures total length with chain - approx. 6" long. The scotty measures 1-1/2" rear leg to tail. The Caverns pin measures about 1" diameter.
