Vintage Military Training School Pull Down Map NYSTROM ROYAL SERIES 53x63 WWII

Not 100% sure of the era for this map, but damned if this isn't one of the coolest pull-down maps we've ever come across! A royal series chalk write on pull down training map made by AJ nystrom out of Chicago, this map measures about 53-in by 63-in. Double-sided, it shows the United States on one side and the world map on the other. Some staining and a area of tape repair in the lower right corner as pictured on the United States side. Some writing marks on the world side that will most likely not come out. Regardless, both sides show very well and the US side displays extremely good! This map reflects the training globes that you see much more frequently and would make an excellent addition to any decor, especially to someone who collects military! retractable mechanism does work, but is finicky! It took us several tries to get the map fully extended and to stay in place for display. But it does work.
