Simple and straight forward, the Direct-Touch wall-mounted control offers four forward speeds and reverse fan speeds, plus full-spectrum light dimming and advanced programmable features including Safe-Exit, Home-Safe, Fan Minder and Light Minder. Includes CFL Mode.
Direct replacement for factory wall control that was included with the fan originally
Compatible only with "Direct-Touch" Casablanca fan models (pre-2013) - Fan model numbers ending in
"L" (C43G45L, C30G45L, etc.)
NOT compatible with newer 2013+ fan model numbers starting with "5":  5xxxx

Pairing Instructions:
Simply set the 6 dip-switches the same as the old control that you're replacing (will be the same as the dip-switches on the wireless receiver in the fan).  This should pair the new control to the fan.
If the control does not work right away, you may need to perform a re-set as described below:
- At the circuit breaker, fuse box, or light switch, turn the power off for the fan for at least 1 minute.
- Within 20 seconds of restoring power to the ceiling fan and the W-74 Wall Control press and hold both the “1” and reverse buttons. Until you hear one tone indicating the command has been accepted. The Fan and Lights will be off.
