- The Walkin’ Rear No-Knuckling Training Sock helps you give your dog the training he or she needs. This dog boot is designed to enhance the sense of self-movement and body position in pets with neurological deficits while also supporting above and below the joint.
DESIGNED AND USED BY CANINE REHABILITATION PROFESSIONALS
- Ideal for in-clinic use by veterinarians and canine rehabilitation professionals, the Walkin’ training dog sock was designed by Renee Mills, VT, CCRP to help dogs with IVDD, DM, Wobbler’s (CVI), FCE, Cervical Disc Disease, and Neurological disorders causing knuckling of the rear paw.
IDEAL FOR EXERCISE AT HOME
- The Walkin’ Training Dog Boot allows pet parents to give their dogs at-home exercise in between therapy sessions. Pet owners can place the training sock on their pet for a 2 to 5-minute walk before removing it. Consult with your veterinarian or canine rehabilitation professional before using this temporary training tool.
PERFECT FOR REHABILITATION
- Pets recovering from spinal surgery or suffering from disc disease will benefit from using the No-Knuckling Training Sock. It stimulates a dog between its toes, evoking a withdrawal reflex and causes him to pick the foot up higher which corrects his gait and improves hind paw placement.
LIGHTWEIGHT, COMFORTABLE AND ADJUSTABLE
- Made from durable, lightweight neoprene with an extra fleece pad and toe cord cushioning to offer a comfortable fit for pets with hind leg weakness. This canine training boot also has an adjustable cord loop to get the perfect fit and touch fastener closures that provide support above and below the joint.
IMPORTANT
- Do not wrap the NKTS too tightly, as that may interfere with circulation or limit the mobility of rear leg. Do not tighten cord to the point where it could cause irritation or pull the toes up too far.
The Rear No-Knuckling Sock
is designed to enhance proprioception in pets with neurological deficits. The sensory stimulation acts as a reminder for pets to lift their limb higher. It can be utilized as a gait retraining tool. The lightweight nature of the neoprene is designed to target pets with hind limb weakness. The Rear No-Knuckling Training Sock should be used as a temporary training tool. It is intended for short term, to help correct and improve hind paw placement. Typically, pet owners will place the training sock on their pet for a two to five minute walk and then remove it. Please consult with your Veterinarian or Canine Rehabilitation professional before using.

Non Wheelchair Return:
We want to make sure your shopping experience is excellent and are glad to give full credit (less shipping cost) for products returned that are in like new, resell-able condition, with the exception of the Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair which has some special conditions.  We will offer you a full refund under these conditions:
Full Refund - Like New - To Qualify for a full refund, try garments on your pet over a tee shirt. Try boots on over a sock. Products that qualify for a full refund are ones that were tried on once, over a sock or tee shirt, didn't fit, were repackaged and returned in 30 days.
There is no hair, fur, dirt, soil, or smell on the product.
The product is in its original packaging, folded as delivered. If you carefully removed staples to open the package, DO NOT re-staple it. We will take care of that.
Partial Refund - Cleanable. The product was tried on once, but a tee shirt or sock was not used and there are a few hairs on it. If we feel that we can restore the product to "new" by cleaning it, you will be charged a 20-50% restocking charge depending on the amount of cleaning & repacking necessary.
Partial Refund - Discountable. The product was tried on once and was slightly soiled or scratched. It is still in good condition, but is no longer new. If your return cannot be brought to 'new condition' we will offer you a refund and re-sell the product as used at a discount. The refund is usually between 20% and 75%.
No Refund - Open packages of diapers and any items that have been soiled are not returnable. The SleePee Time Bed cannot be used prior to return and must be received in new condition in order to get a refund.
Your Options - If you send a product back to us, you may specify that the product be returned to you if a refund is not available. You will be asked to pay shipping. If you decide to refuse the package, we will need to charge you for the return shipping.
Wheelchair Return:
It is our intention that every Walkin' Wheels user be happy with their wheelchair. If you experience problems, please call us. Often we can help with a simple adjustment. If you feel the wheelchair is not for you, we can issue a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. Please note that wheelchairs returned without a return authorization number will not receive credit.
RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS: If you try the wheelchair and it does not work for your pet because of the design or fit, call us within 30 days from the day the wheelchair is delivered to you. If we can't correct it, we will issue you a return materials authorization and refund you up to 80% of the wheelchair's cost (less shipping). If refurbishing is needed due to scratches or wear, this will reduce your refund.
For reasons of hygiene
, once the following items are opened, they will be considered “used” and this will reduce your refund: front harness, leg rings, stirrups, and belly belt.
RETURNED UNOPENED WITHIN 30 DAYS: If you return the wheelchair to us, unopened, with a Return Materials Authorization we will refund 95% of the cost of the entire wheelchair, less shipping charges.
REFUSED DELIVERY: Please do not refuse delivery as we do get charged for this. If you refuse delivery, you will be refunded 90%, plus the shipping charges for the return of your product.
The restocking charge covers some of our costs associated with making the product ready to be used on another dog. Like any business, we either have to cover our costs with a restocking charge or by increasing the price of the product -- which wouldn't be fair.
