Description
Auction for original WW2 US Army/German 1945 POW discharge document.1. US WW2 Discharge for German WWII Prisoner of War Discharge to Georg Neumann. Neumann was born on 7 Jan 1893 in Schwarzenholz/Saar. He lived in Geilsheim/Dinkelsbuhl. He was a widow with no dependents. He served in the German Army. His civilian occupation was listed as Bergmann (miner) and was living in the Geilsheim/Dinkelsbuhl area. He was released due to having suffered wounds and was allowed to go home to heal. He was on 20 Dec 1945 by 1Lt O.K. Sather, Camp Commander, 3rd Army, 349th F.A. BN. Even includes a thumbprint of the POW. Document is 8" x 10" in size. It is reasonable to assume the Neumann had served in WWI and was conscripted for WWII.
Document shows wear and tear associated with age/use. This includes fold lines, edge bumps, small tears on edges. Toning with age. This may include other minor age related defects. In my opinion it is in overall very good condition for age.
Please use photos as a guide in making a purchase decision. Sold as is. Normal wear and tear associated with age. Free shipping. Thanks for looking.
