ITEM: RARE Original WWII UNOPENED BOTTLE of 100 HALAZONE WATER PURIFICATION TABLETS FOR CANTEENS, Abbott Laboratories, North Chicago, from an MP of the 318th INFANTRY REGIMENT, 80th DIVISION.
Bottle is from Pfc. Harold Oscar Sipe of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Serial Number 33235159. Sipe was an MP who began in Company K, 319th Infantry Regiment, 80th Division in 1942. He later trained as an MP and was in the Military Police of the 80th Division. He was away from the Division briefly and returned to the 318th Infantry in March of 1945. I do not have his medals, but possibly he was wounded during or around the Battle of the Bulge and was reassigned to the 318th after recovery. His mother was named Mary and his wife was named Jane. I have several 80th Division items from Sipe listed separately because they could not be adequately pictured and described in one listing. The main big group of his uniform, documents, photo album, etc. is listed separately.
SORRY. I WILL NOT SELL OR SHIP THIS ITEM TO RUSSIA, AFRICA, OR SOUTH AMERICA DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH POSTAL SYSTEMS.
