Provenance: From the estate of a Navy combat intelligence officer and pilot who entered the war just in time to be stationed off the coast of Japan, preparing for the invasion, when the atomic bomb was dropped. He flew seaplanes (Martin Mariner PBMs) but was sent to Air Combat Intelligence school and mostly seems to have been kept very busy on staff. He later served for many years as a state representative. He was a person who kept EVERYTHING.
